After nearly two decades of teaching Pre-K, Courtney Bednyak embarked on her most cherished role to date: a stay-at-home-mom. As she nurtured her children’s love for reading, Courtney felt compelled to create a wholesome story that thoughtfully incorporates all the elements she, as a seasoned educator, knows are essential for fostering children’s reading skills: engaging rhymes, high-frequency words, predictable text, enriching vocabulary, and a valuable moral lesson.  

Courtney‘s roots trace back to Skokie, IL, and today, she resides in Highland Park, IL, alongside her loving husband and three active children.
